Rant: The NFL won't let me watch Thursday Night Football
The NFL has decided to run tonights Packers (10-1) @ Cowboys (10-1) only on it's NFL network which my cable company and I'd bet your cable company does not have. This is a major game with two teams 10-1 and just because the NFL and Cable companies can't get along I'll be regulated to not watching it all. It's a shame when consumers can't watch a game, a consumer who will happily sit through 50-60 paid commercials, now what sense does that make? Sure I could probably hit one of the local watering holes to watch the game but I like my couch and I have school tonight so that means I won't get home till after halftime anyway.
I love the NFL but screw you for not putting this game on regular TV and screw you cable company for not having the channel. In the end I the innocent consumer, that all your advertisers want; won't get to watch the game. Instead I'll be enjoying sleep which will prevent me from watching any ads and prevent me from allowing myself to fall victim to NFL football even more than I already do.
